well, according to skill description, it reduces 20%, but it -feels- a lot more than that x[

This is a suggestion thread, not a complaint thread, keep it CIVIL.

WE ALL get that you want to make Warlocks useful in PvP and WoE.

You do not get that the only way to make Warlocks useful is to make Priests immortal.
Who's being selfish? People fighting for balance for multiple classes, or that guy who's begging for Warlocks to PvP even if it endangers the whole PvP Class-Balance system of the server?

Imagine you were a warlock, all happy and stuff about 50% GTB, then you end up seeing everyone is sporting priests with 99 Mdef Set and maybe even a GTB if they can fit it.

These priests don't have to worry about Melee attacks [But it is unlikely they will exist once GTB gets nerfed] ! They'll just Kyrie, Safety Wall and Pneuma, and now that the priests' enemies' GTBs don't block, they'll even Adoramus their enemies to death WHILE THE PRIESTS HEAL THEMSELVES INFINITELY.

And with Melee out of the way, Magic is no match to 99 Mdef, EVEN WHEN THE ENEMY WEARS STAFF OF PIERCING ! They'll just heal themselves the damage from your puny heavily resisted magic infinitely while you slowly but surely die through Adoramus. Sure, you could wear 99 Mdef, Angeling (nothing a little Oratio can't fix,) maybe even Maya, but you'll find out soon enough you can't beat the ArchBishop's defense and attack.


In the end, for now, sacrificing one class to stop another from being too much is proper~



EDIT: Actually, come to think of it, ArchBishops won't be the only overpowered class if GTB gets disabled,

there will still be GTB and were not asking to DISABLE GTB but only to nerf it... 100% is WAY TOO MUCH..

Priests and Soul Linkers will be immortal o_O

who said they will be immortal?? AFAIK, heals can go only up to 32k

You can't physically hit a priest, that's impossible [with Kyrie/Pneuma]
You can try inflicting Burning Status but by the time this gets them to lowered enough HP, you'd have died of Adoramus + Oratio.
Once you magically hit a priest wearing 99Mdef and GTB, you'll do so little they can outheal with Highness Heals.
+ Don't forget Epiclesis and Basilica

Heals go over 32767. 32767 is a sort of number limit for RO just like 999999.
In truth, they do a little more [provided you have the Bacsojins, but noone uses those]

In the case of Soul Linker,
they have that Kaupe stuff ~

those KA-skills of soul linker is a self buff, so you would be doing so little. and those ES-skills are gonna be the one killing you.

Your initial suggestion was just to make shields 1 slotted and that has negative impact.

We are NOT complaining about Adoramus, we are only pointing out the inevitable future regarding your ideas.

well there you go. GTB nerfed and even with 2 GTB = 90%, Magic damage is still the same as no GTB.

i dont agree with the 1 slot shield, magic users will really overwhelm Star Glad breaker!!!

Okay you guys if this issue still going You guys know that GTB is nerfed down to 49% so 49X2=98% so when you guys are using magic to a user that has GTB there's a chance that you can hit them with magic and i think this is fair enough..
